We have once again woken up to a midnight operation against women and all disadvantaged
groups.
The current government has never ceased to pursue its misogynist policies ever since it was
elected, and the rights women won through relentless struggle were its greatest target. The latest
action of this government whose discourse and policies which trigger femicide has been putting
our lives in danger, has been to withdraw from the Istanbul Convention by means of a late-night
decree signed by the President.
